What is ISO/IEC 27001:2022?
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the international standard for establishing, implementing, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Achieving certification requires an independent assessment of an organization’s approach to managing information security risks, including the policies, procedures, people, and technology used to protect information.
For DigitalMint, certification provides independent validation that our information security management program has been developed and implemented in accordance with a globally recognized framework.
Building on an Established Security Program
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification builds upon the security and compliance framework DigitalMint has developed over several years.
In 2024, DigitalMint successfully completed a SOC 2® Type 1 examination, validating the design of our internal controls at a specific point in time. In 2025, we advanced to SOC 2 Type 2, demonstrating the operational effectiveness of those controls over a six-month observation period.
Most recently, DigitalMint completed its second SOC 2 Type 2 examination, covering a full 12-month observation period from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 across the Security, Availability, and Confidentiality Trust Services Criteria.
Together, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and our continued SOC 2 Type 2 compliance provide independent validation of a security program designed to operate consistently, not simply meet the requirements of a single assessment.
