Job Summary & Objectives
The Senior Sales Manager will own and scale DigitalMint’s sales function, leading a team to acquire new enterprise clients, expand existing accounts, and achieve aggressive revenue targets. This role requires a strategic leader who can build high-performing sales processes, mentor talent, leverage industry relationships, and position DigitalMint as the go-to partner for ransomware incident response, secure crypto settlements, and crypto crime investigations. Targeting executives and key decision makers (e.g., CISOs, CROs, risk officers, legal/general counsel), the position demands expertise in navigating complex sales cycles in cybersecurity and fintech.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive new business acquisition, upsell/cross-sell, and retention in target verticals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team (including associates and potentially regional reps), setting quotas, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a results-driven culture.
- Own the full sales pipeline: prospect high-value accounts, qualify opportunities, conduct executive-level discovery, coordinate technical demos with incident response/forensics experts, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Build and leverage an existing strong network of industry contacts (e.g., cybersecurity vendors, insurance carriers, MSSPs, enterprise risk leaders) to generate referrals, partnerships, and co-selling opportunities—network strength will be validated in interviews.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, management, and technical teams to align messaging, ensure regulatory adherence in proposals, and refine go-to-market approaches based on client feedback and market trends.
- Track and report key sales metrics using CRM tools; provide executive-level insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Participate in industry events, conferences and strategic networking to elevate brand presence and uncover new opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and enablement to shorten sales cycles and increase efficiency in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proven ability to engage and influence C-suite executives on complex topics like ransomware threats, crypto settlements, and compliance.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles in regulated/high-security industries, including handling objections, procurement processes, and legal/compliance reviews.
- Results-oriented leader with resilience, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to both selling and managing.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of proven sales leadership experience, including direct management of sales teams and responsibility for multimillion-dollar revenue targets in B2B environments (cybersecurity, fintech, SaaS, or professional services preferred).
- Demonstrated track record of consistent overachievement — candidates must provide verifiable metrics, references, and examples during interviews.
- Established professional network in cybersecurity, ransomware/incident response, insurance, and/or enterprise technology sectors, which will be thoroughly verified through references and discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or advanced sales certifications a plus).
- Expertise with sales tools and platforms: CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales engagement (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator), and analytics/reporting.
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Prior experience selling cybersecurity services, incident response, crypto crime investigation services or fintech solutions to enterprise clients.
- General knowledge of ransomware ecosystem, threat intelligence, or crypto crime investigations
- History of building sales teams from scratch or scaling in growth-stage companies.
